The Summer Workshops 2008 are full! Thanks to all who applied.
This year, four workshops in etching and four in photogravure
Each lasts 5 days, M-F, 9-5. Take two, back-to-back, if you can.
JUNE 16-20 (all levels) 23-27 (advanced)
JULY 7-11 (all levels) 14-18 (all levels)
Cost is $1,000 per workshop, including materials except
plates, paper, and film (for photogravure) which you can
purchase from us at our cost.
Apply before March 31. We’ll notify you before April
10 whether or not you are accepted, and if accepted a
nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due by April 18, with
the balance due at the workshop.

sasha@crownpoint.com with the following information:
- Your name
- The workshop session(s) you would like, with alternates
if possible. Please indicate which workshop you would like to take,
etching and/or photogravure. - Address, phone number, email
- Have you taken our workshops before?
- Have you applied before and not gotten in?
- A little bit about yourself—are you an artist, printer,
photographer, student, teacher, curator, or interested
layperson in the print world? Have you worked with
printmaking before? What medium? How extensively?
Please make this brief.
We prefer not to see examples of your art as part of your
application, because on principle we don’t make judgments
about the art of our workshop participants, either before or
during the workshops. If you attend, you will work at your
own speed with help from our printers. We do have informal
technical demonstrations, but we don’t have critiques.
All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners. We’d love
to see you in San Francisco this summer at Crown Point Press.
